Charence wins State District title

In the Miss Black & Gold Distrcit of Mississippi Pageant, Charence competed against 8 young ladies from University of Missisippi, Mississippi State University, Mississippi Valley State University, Tougaloo College, Delta State University, University of Southern Mississippi, Mississippi College, and Alcorn State Univeristy in the following categories: Interview, Introduction, Swimwear, Talent, Evening Wear, and Question & Answer. Charence now holds the title Miss Black & Gold District of Mississippi and the award for the contestant with the highest GPA. She will progress to the Regional pageant in Orlando, FL in March.
